Fresh off our fantastic run of ‘Oliver!’, EUSOG are delighted to announce that we are now holding auditions for our March Gilbert and Sullivan show, ‘The Sorcerer’!
‘The Sorcerer’ is the tale of a small english town, turned on its head by a love potion. Alexis and Aline are getting married and they decide that in order to spread the happiness they feel to the rest of their friends and family, they will hire a sorcerer to administer a love potion to all the townspeople. This doesn’t go according to plan and everyone falls in love with the wrong people, causing complete chaos!
Our version of The Sorcerer updates the setting to the 1960s. Alexis and Aline have fully embraced the summer of love and all the tie-dye flower power that comes with it. While staying true to the much loved original story we have updated a few parts to make it a great show for current audiences.
This is ‘The Sorcerer’ as it has never been seen before. The performance will run from 27th March to 31st March 2018.
