The Anglo-Brazilian Society is presenting a new Portuguese-English conversation group called Bate Papo.
We have created this group as a form of bringing people together to have fun and share experiences and perspectives on Brazil. This is a great opportunity for first timers to get involved, learn more about Brazil in a relaxed and friendly environment. For those of you who have already participated in our previous meet ups this will follow the same familiar format you are used to.
As this is also an opportunity to practice your Portuguese guiding questions will be provided before each session. For this first meeting we are going to talking about:
• What motivated you to travel to Brazil / England?
• Tell about your first days…
• How did your expectations meet reality?
• Your thoughts on the country, customs, people
• Your experience of learning the language
• Your best memories….
• Pictures are of course welcome!
Sessions will run every other Tuesday at The Embassy of Brazil (14-16 Cockspur St, St. James's, London SW1Y 5BL , Charing Cross station) from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Entry is free for members. For non members please go to http://www.anglobraziliansociety.org/events/upcoming-events/ for further information.
