Having shared a studio office space with Andrew, we at COG are banding together to host a movie night to raise funds for Andrew's family. Please donate what you wish. This can be done in cash on the night or go to https://www.mycause.com.au/page/159851/show-your-support-for-andrew-barre to do it online.
On Sunday 27 August this year, Andrew Barre passed away suddenly in his sleep. The shock of losing him so suddenly has caused an incredible amount of grief and anguish for his family and friends, especially when he was only 50 years of age and in apparent good health.
Andy was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandpa, a born practical joker, and accomplished photographer. He loved cruising the highways with his biker mates and enjoying a coffee whenever and wherever he could.
Andy leaves behind him a legacy of having made a real difference in people’s lives wherever he worked, and with whomsoever he came across. He has made lifelong mates from his years at Craigmore High School, his studies at TAFESA, and his employment in places such as Interwork, Workskill, and Baptist Care, just to name a few.
There are young people alive and successful today because of Andy's intervention as a youth worker.
Please BYO drinks and bring some nibbles or a plate of something to share. We will begin watching the movie around 8pm.
