In this short series of workshops we will be using a combination of contemporary dance techniques and acrobatic elements as a way to enhance your circus or dance skills. We will be focusing on a variety of solo, duet and group tricks commonly performed in acro-dance varying widely in complexity, as well as contemporary floorwork with the aim of seamlessly combining the two to create a short group piece with the potential to perform as part of the Circus Central Community Cabaret at Juice Festival.
This workshop is open to people 16+ and of any discipline however you must have a base level of
Front Roll/ Back Roll
Handstand (kick up against the wall)
Acro dance is a fun athletic style and most importantly than all of the above is that you have fun learning it!
