Some of London’s finest songwriters take to the stage to play some tunes and reveal the secrets behind the songs. The unique ‘Round’ format, scrapping the traditional ‘set-by-set’ arrangement and letting the artists share the stage, gives an insight into a songwriter’s process that is truly not to be missed!
On stage for Round 37 we have:
– George Pelham –
George Pelham is a singer/songwriter from London, whose influences range from Prince to John Mayer. He has supported acts such as Rizzle Kicks and Bluey Robinson, held a 4-month residency at Ronnie Scott's and played Latitude festival last summer. He recently sold out his first headline show at the Cellar in Earl's Court, and is set to release his debut EP later this year.
– Havelock Music –
Havelock is a 20-year-old from Kent. He expresses his feelings through lyrics and has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. His music takes influence from Jeff Buckley, Amy Winehouse, Jamie T and The Kooks. Expect lilting, feel-good tracks with jazz-infused chords and attitude-filled indie rock and roll.
– Black Hay –
Having been described as "Worse than Leonard Cohen", "A baby Nick Cave", and "A voice you'd roll over in bed for", Black Hay’s music fits comfortably under the description ‘Romantic Music for Perverts’.
After the songwriters finish, the night is not over! Grab one of Rolling Stock's legendary cocktails and request a tune from host Grant Carruthers as we party on into the night!
