Ethereum NYC: Cryptocurrency & Consumer Media

Fri 8 September à 00:30

Timezone : Paris (GMT+02:00)

Spotify HQ
New York

In three sessions, we'll explore the growing adoption of cryptocurrency in consumer media applications:

Web3 Live Streaming with Livepeer

Livepeer is building the live streaming layer in the web3 stack. This talk will give a quick overview of the Ethereum powered protocol for incentivizing a live video broadcast network that can take a video from any broadcaster or streamer, convert it into all the formats and bitrates necessary to reach every device on the planet, and distribute it in a p2p way. The network provides censorship free, pay-as-you-go, live broadcasting at scale for Dapp developers and traditional broadcasters.

Crypto & Consumer Mobile

A popular mobile video platform with millions of users will reveal a new product that marries cryptocurrency and consumer mobile interfaces.
