TIGMUS is proud to present:
Self Help
Self Help formed in 2016 backstage at the O2 Academy Oxford when Silke and Danny first met. A shared love of punk, indie and live music lead to a practice the following week, and a gig the week after! Originally called Din Twins and making a bloody racket as a duo the pair enlisted the help of Sean on guitar and Lizzie on bass and the Self Help family was complete
"Wacky garage pop of the highest lo-fi calibre, as if Plastic Bertrand and Jilted John had a love child that was brought up by The Modern Lovers"
- Nightshift Magazine, 2017
Flatlands combine the melodic world of modern British indie with the dance punk vibes of West Coast USA. Influences include, Modern Baseball, Remo Drive, Circa Waves and Will Joseph Cook.
“The high octane rock intro brings to mind Los Campesinos … the adventurous scope of Provisional Licence bodes well for the group” - puremzine
“A spellbinding first Sofar” -Sofar Sounds Winchester
+ Macho Trax DJ set till 3am!
Spinning dusty grooves, deep disco, rough funk and beyond, Macho Trax is sure to bring the heat, as they do each time, spanning genres all night long.
